We offer a safe environment for children before and after school. Each program has a variety of activities, toys, and games to be used by the children. Latchkey Programs are open Monday through Friday following the District calendar for Lakeview Public Schools for days children attend in-person learning. Y5-8th Grade Latchkey Before and after school care students enrolled in grade K-8. Before school care is open from 6:30am until school begins; after school care is open from the end of the school day until 6:00pm. Preschool Latchkey Before and after school care for students enrolled in Lakeview Public Schools Full Day Tuition Preschool and Full Day GSRP programs. Please have the following information on hand before beginning the registration: Emergency contacts Health and medication information Days and Times needed for Latchkey Latchkey Contract requests are pending approval by the Latchkey office. You will be charged a $50 non-refundable registration fee upon approval of your child's Latchkey Contract. Note: If your child is registered for FULL DAY Tuition Preschool and needs to utilized before/after care, the $50 registration fee covers both Tuition Preschool and Preschool Latchkey

The philosophy of the Early Childhood Center is to learn by doing in a stimulating and nurturing environment. Children learn at their own pace aided by a staff of highly trained preschool specialists who strive to promote a high level of self esteem in each child. The curriculum is devoted to the areas of social-emotional, intellectual, language, creative, and physical development using a variety of materials carefully selected to meet the development needs of each child. The preschool nurtures a cooperative relationship between families and the program and fosters collaboration with the community. The preschool program provides for continuous staff development opportunities.
